In FIVE factory, two-wheeled vehicles, bicycles and mopeds are manufactured, with a maximum production capacity of 35,000 pieces per year.<\/p>\n

FLEXIBLE SYSTEMS<\/h3>

An advantage offered by FIVE production system is flexibility, which distinguishes it from the other roller assembly chains. In fact, it is a hanging chain that guarantees extremely flexible timing in the different steps of manufacturing.<\/span><\/p>\n

In roller systems, if a worker is late in assembly timing, the whole production suffers, since the other operators are forced to wait for the cycle to resume. However, this does not happen with this type of system: in fact, a buffer mechanism built with accumulation devices ensures a remarkable efficiency, as a localized standstill does not affect the other work areas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

860 WORKSTATIONS, CAPACITY 3,200 PIECES<\/h3>

AUTOMATED WAREHOUSE <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]In the central part of the production area, the fully automatic warehouse is installed where bicycles and motorbicycles are stored as soon as the production phase is over, along the assembly line. The warehouse is made up of 860 workstations, where 3,200 pieces can be stored. This makes the product preparation phase particularly simple for shipment out of the compartment, since the incoming and outgoing storage is completely automatic, with no need of any operator. In any case, workforce is always essential, especially for loading trucks ready for shipments.
